The Lodge administration is overseen by the Principals' Trust which is governed by a Principal from one of the nine schools who use the Lodge. The Principal serves a two year leadership and then a new Principal is appointed on a rotation basis.

This year Mrs Stewart, Principal of Marlborough Girls' College has become the lead Principal of the Rotoiti Lodge Trust.

Mrs Stewart's responsibility will be to guide the Trust members and develop a Strategic Plan for the Lodge. She will also be reviewing safety procedures and the educational programmes operating at the Lodge.

Community support is a vital part of keeping the lodge running as all funding comes from community grants, charity donations, lotteries and Lodge hire fees. Without these the operation of the Lodge would not be possible.

Over the past few years the Lodge has seen many upgrades and maintenance, including improvements in its appearance with painting and tidying being done. Outdoor seating has been installed and the showers have seen a much needed makeover!

We've enjoyed some wicked skiing at the Rainbow field and now looking forward to summer water sports.
